This is a story of a typical millennial who decided that she was bored of KPIs, office culture, and making PowerPoint presentations.

Now a kid with money, LEXIE thought about her passions and decided to give music a try, starting with production and quickly getting to DJing.

She’s an introvert who knows no one in the city (bad mix if you want to DJ). She doesn’t lose hope though and puts on her big girl pants. She goes to shows, joins clubs, strikes up conversations with strangers, and eventually becomes comfortable with it. She builds a network of fellow music enthusiasts.

She still sucks at producing 😭

LEXIE is determined and joins a program to learn how to produce. She’s now a song factory and finds her signature sound. LEXIE is unleashed.

I’m LEXIE, and finally, I have the tools and knowledge to express myself, to write songs that make me feel something, songs that transport me to another world. I found my groove - I focus on the bassline and let the other pieces fall in from there.

When I make or listen to music, I’m truly myself. I want to share that feeling with anyone who’s willing to listen.

Is it perfect? No. It’s something, and I like it.
